Prep

What to Know Before You Arrive
Just like microblading, we’ll need you ‘au naturel’ for the Calgary lash extension application. Remove your makeup and come fresh-faced so we don’t delay the application in any way. And, we recommend washing your hair beforehand since you won’t be able to get your lashes wet for at least a day after the application. We also suggest planning your look by considering the thickness, type, style and curl you want from your new glam.
  • Arrive with a clean face and lashes (no makeup)
  • Avoid oil based products on and around the eyes
  • Remove contacts and wear glasses to the appointment
  • Avoid wearing mascara for 24-48 hours prior to the appointment
  • Wash your hair before your appointment (you won’t be able to get wet for at least 24 hours)

After Care

What to Do Once You Go Home
Our lash extensions in Calgary will treat you right so long as you treat them right too. This means treating them delicately and avoiding any moisture, especially in the day or two after application, as the adhesive must cure fully to deliver the maximum lifespan. Sound familiar? It’s probably because lash lifts require the same type of care. Review our other tips below for a perfect and prime post-care procedure.
  • Don’t get your lashes wet for 24-48 hours after application
  • Avoid oil based products on and around the eyes
  • Do not rub or touch your eyes
  • Avoid sleeping on your face
  • Brush your lashes every morning
  • Clean your lashes properly using a foaming lash cleanser
  • Avoid using mascara (especially waterproof mascara)

Generally, 0.15 mm thick lashes are the most common choice for classic lashes. Thicker lashes may be too heavy, and thinner lashes are best used for Volume, Mega Volume and Hybrid fans.

Whichever one makes you look the most gorgeous, of course! In all seriousness, though, just ask and we’ll give you recommendations from the common culprits—open eye, cat eye, doll eye, natural eye, etc.—to more unique and one-of-a-kind styles.
