Prep

What to Know Before You Arrive
Our beauty bar will make sure you know exactly how to prepare for your appointment. This includes relevant instructions, like not waxing or plucking your brows a week before the appointment, as well as good cautionary advice, like avoiding tanning, tinting or waxing your brows beforehand. We also recommend you consider the shape and colour you’re hoping to achieve, so you come ready to proceed.
  • Avoid plucking & waxing one week prior to your appointment
  • Avoid tanning two weeks prior to your appointment
  • Avoid any type of facial or or injection two weeks prior to your appointment
  • Do not tint or wax your brows 72 hours prior to your appointment
  • Avoid drinking alcohol 24-48 hours prior to your appointment
  • Avoid taking any blood thinners or other substances that thin the blood (fish oil, vitamin E, aspirin, ibuprofen, etc.)

After Care

What to Do Once You Go Home
Much likesaline tattoo removal, the aftercare of your brow treatment will require you to be gentle with the affected area. Gently wash it once you get home and moisturize it daily to aid the healing process. Otherwise, avoid touching your brows until they are fully healed. This includes any potentially harmful activities, like swimming. We also recommend avoiding alcohol for the first little while since this can affect the healing process.
  • Gently wash your eyebrow morning and night
  • Moisturize daily using aftercare ointment
  • Use a fresh pillowcase while you sleep
  • Avoid picking at any scabs or dry skin around the brows
  • Avoid swimming, tanning, and activities that cause excessive sweating for two weeks post procedure
  • Avoid drinking alcohol in excess
  • Do not drive in an open-air vehicle
  • Avoid sleeping on your face for the first two weeks

Typically, our brow tattooing sessions take about two hours to complete. We recommend you show up prepared and with an idea of the shape/ colour you want, so we don’t delay the process. 

You can go up to five years without significant touch-ups or maintenance. However, many people choose to attend maintenance appointments every year or two to keep the look fresh and full.

We recommend at least two weeks of light activity and particular care after the appointment to ensure the healing process is not disrupted.
