Prep

What to Know Before You Arrive
You’ll want to ensure you’re fully ready for the treatment before attending our studio. To do this, gently exfoliate the lips beforehand and pick your preferred colour/ lip shape. We also recommend speaking with your doctor and getting an antiviral prescription since it can prevent infections and accelerate the healing process.

After Care

What to Do Once You Go Home
After your appointment, you’ll want to be very gentle around your lips. Don’t scrub or irritate the area, and be very careful when cleaning it. Avoid makeup use and harsh conditions (UV exposure, swimming, etc.) afterwards, and allow the scab to flake off by itself.

The procedure is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo that can enhance the colour of your lips or better define their shape.

Every individual experiences pain differently, but you can expect a general rating of 6/10 for pain. We use a numbing agent to reduce the pain.

The process is semi-permanent. The frequent use of your lips means that the pigments may fade with time but will generally last for two to three years without significant change.

You’ll likely experience pain, swelling and redness following the treatment. Without proper aftercare, you run the risk of infection. Contact us for more information.
